Welcome to my walk page! Thank you so much for being here.

In preparation for our annual walk event, we are fundraising for our local community affected by rare bleeding disorders. I myself have been diagnosed with a bleeding disorder, as well as my dad and many others in our family. There is no cure yet, but that is why it is so important to me that we continue to fundraise and raise awareness.

All the money raised on my page will stay within our local state chapter and go towards advocacy efforts, providing free education and events to our local families, and more! With these funds, we have also had the opportunity to partner with other chapters like the Pacific Northwest Bleeding Disorders Chapter in Oregon to send some of our teens to their Yeti program and Teen Retreat Weekends! Opportunities like these create space for our community members to meet others with similar diagnosis within the state and beyond! This is why funding is so important to our organization.

With your help, we can continue to provide free experiences and education for our local bleeding disorders families in Hawai`i. Please consider making a donation and spreading the word about our fundraising efforts. Donations are deductible and we can also send you a tax letter if needed.

If there are any larger companies or organizations who would love to make a larger donation or have a booth at our walk event on October 5th at Kapi`olani Park, please send me an e-mail at kcalbero@bleeding.org. I would love to work with you!

Mahalo for your time!
