Dear Friends and Family,

When I was 17 months old I was diagnosed with Hemophilia A Factor Viii Deficiency which there is no cure. I am lacking one of my clotting factors so I cannot clot well.  So as you know I am Jewish and so I cannot participate in the Hemophilia Walk because it is the Jewish Saabath day for our Family, but we can do our part.

Hemophilia Walk a fundraising event to support the Hemophilia Federation of Oregon and the National Hemophilia Foundation. Inherited bleeding disorders are a life-long condition and I personally have to treat 3 times a week so I can clot normal. Currently there is no cure, but scientists are actively engaged in finding cures and improving treatments and this is a way you can help us find a cure.

That’s why I’m raising money and I hope that I can count on your support of this exciting event! Thousands of families in our community, and across the country will benefit from your support.

My personal goal is to raise $1000 for this worthy cause. I’m asking for your help to reach my goal. Will you make a tax-deductible contribution by donating what you can? It’s fast and easy to make a donation on my online personal fundraising page https://hemophiliawalk.donordrive.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=account.profile.

You can also support my fundraising efforts by forwarding this email to as many people as you can to inspire them to donate as well! Every step does make a difference in the lives of people affected by bleeding disorders.

Thank you in advance for your support and together, we will make a difference.
