Our son, Alex, has hemophilia.
Hemophilia is a lifelong, genetic bleeding disorder that prevents the blood from clotting normally. The main symptom is uncontrolled, often spontaneous bleeding. Our family is participating in the Hemophilia Walk - a fundraising event to support the Florida Hemophilia Association and the National Hemophilia Foundation. Currently there is no cure, but scientists are actively engaged in finding cures and improving treatments.
We hope that you can join Team Alex Dones and participate at the walk on 4-30-17. If not, it’s fast and easy to support us by making a donation on my online personal fundraising page http://hemophiliawalk.donordrive.com/participant/28532.
I hope that I can count on your support of this exciting event! Alex and thousands of families in our community, and across the country will benefit from your support and the success of the Walk.
You can also support my fundraising efforts by forwarding this email to as many people as you can to inspire them to donate as well! Every step does make a difference in the lives of people affected by bleeding disorders.
Thank you so very much for supporting our son!
