Join the Lone Star Chapter of the National Hemophilia Foundation at our 10th Annual Hemophilia Walk!
Piloted in 2008, the Walk has become a critical program of the Lone Star Chapter of the National Hemophilia Foundation. Raising awareness of bleeding disorders in the general community, the Walk brought families together who are dealing with bleeding disorders on a daily basis. Lifelong friendships have been made, and families know they are not alone.
Funds raised have helped sustain chapter programs like the Texas Bleeding Disorders Conference, helped begun programs like our Mano a Mano Siempre Unidos Hispanic Support Group, and enabled the chapter to make a $10,000 donation to the National Hemophilia Foundation’s Judith Graham Pool Postdoctoral Research Fellowship Program.
The Lone Star Chapter is dedicated to providing families the education, support, and advocacy needed to manage their bleeding disorder successfully, as well as supporting research for a cure. The Walk has enabled us to continue to fulfill this mission daily.
So, join us in 2017, as we support those with bleeding disorders. Join us for a day of fun, food, and fellowship with families who need our support! It will be a fun day for the whole family that you will not want to miss!!
